Mechanism: Tiemonium methylsulphate is an anticholinergic that inhibits muscarinic receptors in smooth muscle, reducing spasms and motility in the gastrointestinal tract.
Pharmacokinetics: Rapidly absorbed orally; metabolized in the liver; excreted mainly via urine. Onset: 30–60 minutes orally, faster with injection.
