Mechanism & Pharmacokinetics ▼
Mechanism: Padimate O and Oxybenzone primarily absorb UVB radiation. Avobenzone absorbs UVA radiation. Titanium Dioxide reflects and scatters both UVA and UVB rays, providing broad-spectrum protection.
Pharmacokinetics: Minimal systemic absorption when applied topically as directed. Acts locally on the skin surface. Systemic exposure may occur if applied over large areas or damaged skin.
