What is ECG?

Many modern tests have been developed to diagnose different types of heart disease. ECG is one of them.

Electrocardiography or  ECG  (English: Electrocardiography;) is a cardiovascular method in which the activity of the human heart is electronically determined and recorded with the help of a cardiograph. Cardiographs measure the electrical potential at the surface of the human body and for some time contain a continuous record of the electrical current associated with the activity of the heart muscle. Any abnormalities are determined by comparing the records obtained from the test heart with the normal heart. This record is available in the form of a graph.

The origin of the word electrocardiography  or  ECG is:

The word is derived from the Greek electro, meaning related to the electrical activity; Cordia, which means heart; And graph, which means "to write".

Why ECG?

If a patient needs to be examined, the cardiologist says to do this test first. This test does not require the patient to have a tear or something inserted into the body. The test is completed in just five minutes. Whether the heart is working at its normal rhythm, the position of the heart, whether any part of the hoops has become too thick, whether any part of the hoops has been damaged, ECG is an attempt to understand whether there is any abnormality in the blood flow by observing the electrical activity of the heart. 

The results of the ECG test are reported in the form of a graph on a piece of paper. In modern ECG machines, the ECG graph can be observed instantly on a display. By looking at this graph, the doctor understands whether the patient has had a heart attack or whether the regular rhythm of the heart is correct. To perform this test, the patient is laid on a flatbed and electrodes are placed at six designated places near the heart. 

The test is completely painless and does not require any preparation. ECG is performed not only in patients with chest pain and shortness of breath but also in older patients as part of the preparation for surgery. Apart from that, ECG is also a part of regular health examination. However, heart disease is not detected by ECG. In this case ETT

ইসিজি কর?

এই পরিস্থিতিতে পরীক্ষা করা উচিত হলে এই পরীক্ষার জন্য পর্যায়ের শরীরের কাগজপত্র বা শরীরের পরিস্থিতি কিছু প্রবেশ করানো উচিত নয়। পাঁচ মিনিটেই পরীক্ষা শেষ হয়েছে। হৃৎপিন্ডের সাধারণ ছত্রাকের কাজগুলি, হৃপ্প্রদেশের অবস্থান, হুশশিরের অংশ অংশ নয়, রক্তচক্ষুর কোন অংশ নেই, কোনও বিষয়ই ইজিজি হৃৎপণ্ডের বৈষয়িক ক্রিয়াকলাপে উপস্থিত রয়েছে ।

পরীক্ষার সম্পূর্ণ বাথামিটেড এবং কোন প্রসেসটুটির দরকার নেই। কেবল বুকে বাঁশ এবং শ্বাসকষ্টের পরিস্থিতি পরীক্ষা করা যায় না, বয়স্ক পরিস্থিতি অপারেশনের পূর্ব অংশগুলি অংশীদারি করা হয়। কোন ইসিজি নিয়মিত স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষার একটি অংশ। তবুও ইজিজি ত্রুটিযুক্ত হলেন না ধরা এটি আইটিটি, ইকোকারডিওগাও এবং করোনারি এনজিওগ্রেড পরীক্ষার্থী হওয়া দরকার।

Indications :
Montelukast Sodium is indicated for:
  • Prophylaxis and chronic treatment of asthma
  • Acute prevention of Exercise-Induced Bronchoconstriction (EIB)
  • Relief of symptoms of Allergic Rhinitis (AR): Seasonal & Perennial Allergic Rhinitis
Presentation:
4 Chewable Tablet: Each tablet contains Montelukast Sodium INN equivalent to Montelukast 4 mg.
5 Chewable Tablet: Each tablet contains Montelukast Sodium INN equivalent to Montelukast 5 mg.
10 Tablet: Each tablet contains Montelukast Sodium INN equivalent to Montelukast 10 mg.
4 ODT: Each orodispersible tablet contains Montelukast Sodium BP equivalent to Montelukast 4 mg.
5 ODT: Each orodispersible tablet contains Montelukast Sodium BP equivalent to Montelukast 5 mg.

Description:
Montelukast is a selective and orally active leukotriene receptor antagonist that inhibits the cysteinyl leukotriene CysLT1 receptor. Cysteinyl leukotrienes and leukotriene receptor occupation have been correlated with the pathophysiology of asthma ( such as, airway edema, smooth muscle contraction, and altered cellular activity associated with the inflammatory process, which contributes to the signs and symptoms of asthma).

Dosage & Administration :
Adults & adolescents (15 years & older)-
  • Asthma & Allergic Rhinitis: 10 mg/day
  • Exercise-Induced Bronchoconstriction: 10 mg/day
Pediatric patients (6 to 14 years)-
  • Asthma & Allergic Rhinitis: 5 mg/day
  • Exercise-Induced Bronchoconstriction: 5 mg/day
Pediatric patients (6 months to 5 years)-
  • Asthma & Allergic Rhinitis: 4 mg/day
  • Exercise-Induced Bronchoconstriction: Not recommended
Patients with both asthma and allergic rhinitis should take only one dose daily in the evening. For prevention of Acute prevention of Exercise-Induced Bronchoconstriction, a single dose should be taken at least 2 hours before exercise.

Route of administration: Oral. Montelukast may be taken with or without food or as directed by the physician.

Interaction :
Montelukast could also be administered with other therapies routinely utilized in the prophylaxis and chronic treatment of asthma In drug-interactions studies, the recommended clinical dose of montelukast didn't have clinically important effects on the subsequent medicinal products: theophylline, prednisone, prednisolone, oral contraceptives, terfenadine, digoxin, and warfarin. Caution should be exercised, particularly in children, when montelukast is coadministered with phenytoin, phenobarbital, and rifampicin.

Contraindications :
Hypersensitivity to any element of this product.

Side Effects :
Montelukast appears to be tolerated. The foremost common adverse effect reported in clinical trials was a headache, occurring in approximately 18% of patients. Rash, dyspepsia, dizziness, and abdominal pain were all reported in but 2% of patients. Elevated liver transaminases are reported with montelukast use, but not at a greater incidence than with placebo. a little percentage of pediatric patients have experienced diarrhea, sinusitis, and otitis during montelukast clinical trials.

Pregnancy & Lactation :
Montelukast is assessed as maternity class B. The drug has been shown to cross the placenta of pregnant rats and rabbits, however, there are no reports of its use in pregnant girls.
